Shooting Ranges
Pocono Shooting
Black Powder Revolvers differ from modern firearms in that they do not use cartridges. Instead, black powder is poured loosely into each chamber of the revolver. A ball is then loaded into each chamber and rammed down using a built-in lever and plunger. Caps are placed on the back of the cylinder and the hammer strikes the caps, setting off the powder inside the cylinder and propelling the ball out the muzzle. This method of loading and firing a firearm was used before 1870.Shooting Range
Our indoor and outdoor ranges in the Poconos provide a safe environment for anyone interested in sports shooting. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced shooter, you can enjoy expert instruction, practice what you already know, and have exciting shooting action at our archery and gun ranges. We welcome families and groups, and offer training for individuals who want to improve their skills.
